About Me:

I am excited to start another year at North Star - getting to know your students thru our 5th grade Math classes.

My philosophy is "Math Makes Sense, its not about Memorizing Procedures". My goals are to help students use - growth mindset, strengthen numeracy, think critically, explain their reasons, and take risks.

Parents can help by checking the Google Classroom website, and allowing their students to work independently as much as possible. Students will learn more thru a little productive struggle and the their accomplishments will mean all the more.
