6th grade - Minor, Gwen

About Me:

In Latin, “remis velisque” means “with oars and sails; with all one’s might,” and that’s how I approach everything I do! I have been reading and writing ever since I can remember.

In 6^th grade Language Arts we will be learning about the history of the English language; practicing essay writing; delving into  non-fiction reading material; and enjoying classic literature, including William Shakespeare.

In 6^th grade Social Studies we will be studying the history of early humans; the development of ideas, beliefs, and systems; and the rise and fall of civilizations. I am so excited to be teaching 6^th grade Language Arts and Social Studies!  It is the dream job I have always wanted!

Assignments are accessible through Google Classroom and grades are accessible through the PowerSchool Middle School Parent/Student Portal on the North Star website.
